For years, Operators have struggled with minimum flow control, clogging due to particle contamination, and poor rangeability requiring a split range configuration. To solve these problems, IMI Critical Engineering has developed our revolutionary solution: The EroSolve Metamorphic Trim – also knowns as the MMT.

Problematic valves can be quickly and easily upgraded with the MMT trim to handle challenging operating conditions. In most instances, a new trim can be custom designed to fit the existing valve body and actuator, reducing installation costs.

The EroSolve Metamorphic Trim has already demonstrated its amazing ability in solving chronic valve issues. Customers have reported that, even in the most severe applications where previous valves were suffering extensive damage to the trim and body, MMT works perfectly. One of our customers has also made savings of up to £2 million pounds a year due to increased valve performance.

EroSolve Metamorphic Trim:

Combines multi-stage labyrinth and cascade technologies.
Is a self-cleaning valve trim, with expanding passages to prevent clogging, results in fewer unplanned shutdowns.
Comfortably handles low flow rates and high pressure drops.
Offers superior rangeability with a single valve solution.
Has a protected seat design that is not susceptible to damage from cavitation.
Provides velocity control throughout the trim. The controlled trim exit velocity not only reduces the risk of damage due to cavitation but also, in most cases, prevents cavitation from occurring.
Eliminates issues caused by gap flow (control issues and erosion damage).
Requires longer maintenance intervals which reduces maintenance and operating costs.
