The ICO2S is a pilot assisted, indirect solenoid operated poppet valve and the coil must be connected to a barrier fuse.
Line Pressure is applied through the main valve inlet port & pilot pressure is applied through the pilot air inlet port.
When the coil is energised, the pilot pressure drives the operating piston up, opening the main valve and allowing air to flow through the outlet port.
When the coil is de-energised, the spring returns the main valve to the closed position.
