Pulp and Paper Processing Valves
Paper and Pulp
The industrial processing of pulp and paper requires the precise control of steam at the correct pressure and temperature – typically at 3.5 bar and 145°C – in the paper machine and evaporators. Steam is used from a steam turbine and bypass valve and must be close to saturation point for maximum efficiency and to prevent damage to the finished product, or even the loss of the paper run. IMI CCI’s control valves and desuperheating have been developed with specific expertise in the paper industry from 1928 to ensure the most reliable and precise control of process steam in pulp and paper production.
