At IMI Critical Engineering, we are committed to ensuring the health and safety of our employees and their families, suppliers and customers. We are continuously reviewing the rapidly evolving environment with regards to Coronavirus (COVID-19), monitoring measures, government advice and requirements in light of this.
As the situation varies from country to country, in order to prevent the spreading of Covid-19, IMI Critical Engineering follows the rules and guidelines recommended by local authorities around the world and we have implemented any changes to protect the health and wellbeing of our employees, customers and suppliers.
We have banned all travel for employees, and no employees can travel between our own sites. As a further protection, all external visitors to our sites must be agreed and approved by the site Managing Director in advance of travel to site. Only essential visits will be considered, within country.
In order to safeguard our supply chain, we have looked into the research in this area, consulted a number of recognised bodies, and we are guided to believe that transmission through the supply chain does not present a significant risk. We would always remain on the side of caution and have had a global team working on best practices including hygiene practices since early February. We remain vigilant and continue to monitor the situation.
We want to reassure our customers and suppliers that we are here to help in these uncertain times. Where impacted, we have taken decisive action and been able to return to full operations within days. We will endeavour to keep you informed of any changes to our business and operating practices.
