We are a leading engineer of critical service flow control valves for the nuclear industry, with more than 50 years experience in supplying control valve, isolation and other services.
Nuclear process control valves & actuationWe offer a wide range of severe and general service control and safety valves with a proven history of meeting the most demanding high-differential pressure and thermal conditions. Our valve product range can be customized for any application and can be qualified to QME-1 and the nuclear actuator product range to IEEE-323, 344 and 382.
Nuclear isolation & relief valvesHigh energy isolation valves provide a tight shut-off with each cycle, preventing local leak rate test failures and related schedule delays. Our system medium operated actuators eliminate any dependence upon troublesome air supply, nitrogen gas, and hydraulic fluid or mechanical springs. The valve range can be qualified to QME-1 and the nuclear actuator product range to IEEE-323, 344 and 382.
Mechanical systemsWe offer specialized nuclear technologies for ECCS suction strainers, vent resistor silencers and other applications contributing to plant productivity and safety.
DRAG®IMI CCI pioneered the DRAG® multi-path, multi-stage velocity control technology in 1967, and it continues to lead the severe service control valve industry in preventing cavitation, erosion, noise, and vibration. This technology was a landmark innovation that answered the need for a valve capable of handling high-pressure liquids and gases, including water, oil, steam, natural gas, petroleum products and chemicals. In addition to offering DRAG® technology in IMI CCI valves, we can retrofit our DRAG® trims into any competitors' valves, solving troublesome performance or maintenance issues without requiring valve body replacement.
System Medium ActuationOur PPS System Medium Actuated Isolation valve was designed for safety-related applications, where valves must close safely and dependably during design basis events, including pipe ruptures. These include main steam and main feedwater isolation applications on both PWRs and BWRs.
QuickTrak®The introduction of the IMI CCI QuickTrak® electronic valve controller sets the standard for speed, accuracy and reliability. QuickTrak® provides the latest features of "smart" digital positioners but provides a complete actuation control system with industry-leading air flow capacity. It offers highly accurate, rapid valve positioning in the control mode, without the need for auxiliary boosters or quick exhaust valves, and also has remote mounting and self-diagnostic capabilities.
We have a full aftermarket service division, providing field service, parts repair, upgrades and long-term service agreements for customers around the world. We are also able to conduct critical dimension analysis using original drawings and specifications to ensure processes are functioning safely and at optimal efficiency.
